Paul Simonson first began designing bridal gowns whilst at college. It was there that he was offered a placement with David and Elizabeth Emanuel, the designers of Princess Diana's wedding gown and, whilst working there, Paul decided that bridal wear was to be the area in which he would specialize.
After spending several years in couture Paul moved on to more commercial design, working with many London design companies to supply stores across the U.K., including Liberty.

Paul has shown his collections at The National Wedding Show on many occasions and has always received excellent reviews, as well as Press coverage and Photo shoots in the leading Bridal Magazines.
The central themes that run throughout all of his designs are 'Femininity' and 'Romanticism'. Paul reinterprets these ideas constantly, adding in key trends for each season and it is this ever-changing mix of ideas that keeps his collection fresh and interesting.

The two main categories for Bridal Gowns are 'Traditional' and 'Contemporary' and most designers tend to work within one of these areas. Paul is equally confident in either and he moves effortlessly between them, designing contemporary Chic dresses that are cut on the bias and traditional styles that are timeless and elegant.
